-Original Studded Seat
The Mustang Studded seat has all the features to make it our most popular seat. A full front bucket for the rider is trimmed with a braided edge skirt that comes down over the frame and fender for a clean, uninterrupted look. Passenger seat extends forward slightly to support the rider's back. Two-piece foam on a single-piece steel base that quickly bolts on using stock locations. Trimmed with chrome studs and conchos tied with leather. New technology adds long distance comfort to the "old" look.

Baseplate Features:
Mustang Softail seats will fit all Softail models except 1999-earlier FLSTS Heritage Springers. All Seats are built on 16 gauge formed steel baseplates. A welded nose tab clips into the frame mount behind the gas tank. The baseplates have rubber supports at contact points and carpet to protect the fender.
1984-99 One-Piece Baseplate:
The slotted chrome rear tab on the back of the seat aligns with the threaded fender hole.
